Thought of the Day: Appreciate Your Loved Ones

We have all heard it before, and that is to simply appreciate your loved ones while you can. This is such a simple yet complex thought. After all, we  just assume that everyone does this. However, I can tell you that this is not always the case.

About two months ago I had my second son, Roman Luke Hopper, and for many nights I had absolutely no sleep. So I remember late one night surfing through the cable channels when I came across a series I had never seen before. That series was none other than Six Feet Under.

Now I know some of you are wondering what this has to do with anything...and you might be surprised to know it actually put a lot of things in perspective for me.

I am going to start by saying, If you have family or friends that you have gotten into fights or arguments with, please seize this moment to make it right with them. Now I am by no means saying go back into a toxic situation!

I am simply saying if you had a silly argument or have been holding a grudge over something trivial...please fix it.

Now if you are in my situation, where the people are just toxic and abusive, by no means should you try and fix it. It's better to not fix some situations!

But for those of you who can fix your situations... please do!

I ended up watching all the seasons of Six Feet Under and realized how important my own family is! I realized that eventually we are all going to die and it's the moments that we share with important people in our lives that matters the most.

I guess we all get caught up in everyday things and forget that everything can change in an instant. So tell your husband or wife how much you love them...hug your children like it will be the last time you see them...and live each day like its your last!

Life is a gift and it shouldn't be taken for granted....

I think what I loved about Six Feet Under was that it showed a family that had numerous fights and disagreements yet they somehow managed to stay together and be there for each other. It also showed me just how short life really is!

So for those of you who don't know about this show I am going to attach the series finale of the show.
It was such a sad ending yet it showed how each character coped with the deaths of each of their loved ones and how life went on! So check it out!

Inspirational Quote of the Day

"We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone."
                                    -Ronald Reagan

I wanted to make this post about something very simple and relatable. Something that we all could use from time to time...and that is a little inspiration!

Inspiration to do something good with the life we are given. I really do believe we all get a little too caught up in ourselves and our wants. We often times fail to see what life is really all about. Quite simply life is all about helping our fellow humans.

We all underestimate what a simple helping hand can do for someone. As people we all need a little bit of help every now and the even if we'd not like to admit it.

Which brings me to the inspirational quote I'd like to share with all of you...

"We can not help everyone, but everyone can help someone."

This quote is very simple and good reminder for us all. While we may not be able to help everyone that is in need, each one of us can make a difference for someone if we just extend a helping hand.

So the next time you drive by and see someone in need don' t hesitate to help...every good deed does not go unseen!

You never know how much of a difference you can make in a someone's life!

I have attached a video that you might find inspiring!
